Macarons

Letztes Wochenende haben meine Schwester und ich das erste Mal Macarons gemacht. Macarons sind kleine französische Köstlichkeiten, bestehend aus zwei Mandel-Baiser-Hälften und einer leckeren Füllung in der Mitte. Das Rezept haben wir von dem Youtube-Kanal "Sorted". Hier kochen Engländer die leckersten Dinge, wir sind schon total süchtig nach den Videos. Unsere Macarons haben wir mit Himbeermarmelade, Macadamianusscreme und Lemon Curd gefüllt. Sehr lecker!

Last weekend my sister and I tried making Macarons for the first time. Macarons are little French treats, made of almonds and meringue with a delicious filling. We took the recipe from the Youtube-Channel "Sorted". There English guys cook the most awesome things, we are addicted already. Our Macarons were filled with raspberry-jam, macadamiacreme and lemon curd. So good! See the video with the recipe above.

Italienische Kunst Heute

Der Sommer ist angekommen, sogar in Kiel, der Stadt, in der der Wind und der kalte Regen zuhause sind. Habe auch seit Längerem mal wieder keine Prüfung in Reichweite, also Zeit, aus der Lernhöhle zu kriechen und  "Hallo Welt" zu sagen. War gestern in der Ausstellung "Italienische Kunst Heute". War überraschend cool muss ich sagen. Mein Favourit ist der Trötenkopf, der sich aufblässt und trötet, sobald man näher kommt. Woop woop:)

Summer has arrived!! Time to leave study-work behind and enjoy the good life:) It's my first summer in the city "Kiel" so I really love being only 10 minutes away from the beach. And although it's such a small town, we have nice art-galleries too. These pictures are taken at the "Italienische Kunst Heute"-exibition.

Fyrinnae

After I've seen so many beautiful looks with pigments from Fyrinnae on Marthas Blog I had to buy some of the colours. Now a few weeks later the package has arrived and I am totally in love with the colours, I can not wait to try them all.
